Armand Brint received his master s degree in Creative Writing and English from San Francisco State University and has taught Creative Writing at Northern California colleges and universities.
He is a popular reader in Mendocino County, California, where he resides, and was the City of Ukiah s first Poet Laureate.
Armand's poetry has appeared in many journals; his awards for poetry include the 2013 Jane Reichhold International Prize for Haiku. Armand is the author of two previous books of poetry, Schools of Light, Linwood Publishers, 1995 and The League of Slow Cities, Tenacity Press, 2001.
Armand also co-edited two early books on alternative health practices, the Holistic Health Handbook, 1978 and the Holistic Health Lifebook, 1981.
Armand lives with his wife, Fran, in Ukiah, California.
